September 22, 2013 AM Worship
Some wind and rain on Friday brought fall-like temperatures to Louisville for the weekend. People gathered at Vine Street Baptist Church to sing songs of praise and hear a message from Exodus
The worship service started as Deacon Betty Jeffries read Psalm 95:1-7a and said a prayer. Worship Pastor Chris Wells led the gathered in all stanzas of All Hail the Power of Jesus Name, then invited everyone to greet each other in a time of fellowship.
Pastor Ben Dockery spoke briefly about today’s sermon, then said a pastoral prayer of praise and requests. Wells read Hebrews 9:15-22, then everyone sang songs.
- Nothing But the Blood
- There is a Fountain
After Deacon Joe Gross said a prayer, the offering was collected and the gathered sang Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone).
Pastor Ben brought the next message in the Exodus sermon series. The full audio can be heard by clicking on the date link below, or right-click and select “Save As” to save the file to your computer. Click on the scripture reference to follow along with the reading.
